Pursue Excellence
Taxes
Our tax structure should be simple, reward excellence, and provide sufficient funding for the government to fulfill its Constitutional obligations. The services we fund through our taxes should also be closely monitored so we actually see the services we are promised delivered efficiently.
Education
Our schools will be a place where children learn, socialize, develop critical thinking skills, and are encouraged to embrace their creativity. Teachers will have the freedom and resources to do their job. Students are not cogs to be groomed for our economic needs. Innovation is born of the freedom to explore.
Equal Rights
Freedom of speech and freedom to express who you are without fear of violence or censorship is the foundation on which our future is built. We do not have to agree, but we must uphold the fundamental right of all individuals to participate in the national discourse and pursue happiness.
Foreign Policy
A strong military, sound economy, fierce independence, and national unity are the primary elements that will drive foreign policy. We will address the many geopolitical vulnerabilities that exist and regain our leverage by strengthening our internal bonds. Most importantly, we will not forfeit our responsibility to uphold human rights for economic gain.
Environment
Our environment is a precious resource that all Americans agree should be protected and preserved. Clean air, clean water, pristine wild lands, and responsible development is our prerogative if future generations are to enjoy the beauty of our nation.
Immigration
All people are welcome in this country. Immigrants seeking the hope of a better future are the foundation of our culture and the drivers of economic growth. We will have an immigration system that is open to new residents, but closed to drugs, human trafficking, and all the negative consequences of a disjointed and ideological approach to border policy.
